Servizzi Ewropej f’Malta organised a training session for company representatives and self-employed individuals on developing projects and preparing EU funding applications. Participants received information on opportunities including the Business Enhance programme.

The training covered identifying project needs, setting objectives, planning activities and expected outcomes, and preparing application documents. Participants also undertook practical group exercises based on a simulated call for funding proposals.

Minister for European Funds, Social Dialogue and Consumer Protection Keith Azzopardi Tanti addressed the event. “We are committed in continuing to bring this support closer to enterprises, ensuring that more have the confidence and the capacity to seize the opportunities offered by EU funding,” the Minister stated.

He said its training programme serves enterprises, voluntary organisations, local councils and public entities. Over the past five years, the agency has delivered more than 60 training sessions attended by over 1,500 participants. According to the release, these focus primarily on project development, proposal writing and principles for project implementation.
